The reArmenia Academy, operating in the field of AI education and transformation, announces the successful completion of its 1st investment round. The company has raised USD 670,000 from more than a dozen local and international investors at a total valuation of USD 10 million.
This is an unprecedented indicator for a startup in the idea stage, founded in Armenia in November 2025, whose majority shareholder (90%+) remains the reArmenia Charity Foundation after the completion of the investment round.
“The investment entrusted to us testifies that Armenia is starting to be perceived globally as a rapidly developing, reliable platform in the field of AI transformation and education,” notes Gevorg Poghosyan, Director of the reArmenia Foundation. “At the same time, by entering external markets, the company strengthens Armenia’s position as a country exporting education and transformation technologies.”
Along with the completion of the 1st investment round, reArmenia Academy announces its first step into international markets, commencing with a strategic cooperation initiative in India.
The Academy’s partner in India is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of India, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) and a voluntary, societal initiative #ai4abillion.ai led by Hony.
Visiting Professor Rohit Bansal. Within the partnership, in February 2026, BVB will launch India’s first “Artificial Intelligence literacy and AI4Bharat” program in Hinglish, built on educational content developed by reArmenia Academy.
reArmenia Academy operates across four core directions: AI literacy and professional proficiency programs, 21st century skills and lifelong learning, AI Agentic Education platforms, and AI Transformation consulting for organizations.
In 2025, the Academy provided AI education to over 9,000 individuals from Armenia and the Diaspora. It has also launched partnerships with leading organizations and universities across different sectors in Armenia to drive AI education and transformation.
“At the Academy, our focus is on human-centered AI that amplifies creativity, learning, and growth across all layers of society. With a vision to empower at least one million Armenians with AI literacy within a maximum of five years, we are building an ecosystem where individuals and organizations continuously evolve through the literate and effective application of AI. Through our AI educational programs and AI Agentic Education Platform, learners receive innovative instruction with personalized learning paths. Meanwhile, institutions move from simple automation to meaningful AI transformation, which multiplies their potential and ensures exponential growth,” said Rebecca Hakobyan, CEO of reArmenia Academy.
Recently, the Academy hosted its first community event in Yerevan, bringing together more than 300 participants from Armenia’s education, technology, and business sectors. Symbolically, the meeting was hosted at TUMO, the Yerevan center of a leading exporter of capability building and technology education, and opened with remarks by Pegor Papazian, Development Director of TUMO.

The highlight of the event was a high-level panel discussion titled “How to Keep Up with AI?,” with speakers including leading figures in education and business: Aram Pakhchanyan (Ayb Educational Foundation), Suzanna Shamakhyan (Executive Director, FAST Foundation), Anna Vardanyants (Head of Human Resources Management Service, Ameriabank CJSC), and Anna Konjoryan (Head of Corporate Culture Division, AMIO Bank). The discussion
underscored the growing national momentum around AI literacy and transformation in Armenia, and speakers shared practical advice with the audience on moving in step with AI developments.
