On December 20 Yerevan Municipality jointly with the team of «Yerevan Half Marathon» of «Repat Armenia» foundation organize the «New Year race» charity marathon. 500 runners dressed like Santa Claus are to run 5 km along the central streets of Yerevan. The motto of the race is «Run and help». All the proceeds from participation in the marathon will be sent for charity to support «Children of Armenia» fund.

Participants. 500 runners aged 14 and older can take part in the New Year race.
Participation fee is 4000 AMD. All the participants will get Santa Claus's costumes, and at the end of the race the participants will be treated to tea, coffee and sweets.
The race starts at 12.00. The start and the finish will be announced in the area adjacent to the Sport and Concert Complex after K. Demirchyan, where a stage will be placed, DJ will perform their music.
