In accordance with the good tradition, prior to the New Year Yerevan Municipality carries out an action of social significance called «A piece of warmth». This year the women-employees of the municipality departments and divisions simultaneously visited Yerevan N 1 and Nork old people's homes and the shelter for homeless people and treated them to the cakes prepared by themselves.

«This the second year we have been united round the same idea- to pass a piece of warmth of our souls and kindness to those people who for various reasons have to mark the New Year far from their family, at the old people's home or in temporary shelters. We have prepared for this action with great pleasure being sure that this day will fill their hearts with warmth and sweetness, as they need family warmth and kind treatment», said one of the participants of the action, the head of the division of tourism of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture and Tourism Maria Baraghamyan.

By the way, the staffs of the administrative districts joined the action and in their turn visited the social establishments located in the districts.
